Proof of ID Requirements
Our insurers will only provide cover if you are able to prove who you are. Before you are insured to drive our vehicles you must provide the following for each person who will be driving:
- A copy of the front and back of the drivers’ license, with the address and ID being up-to-date.
- We need to perform an online DVLA license check and for that, you must provide us with a check code and the last 8 characters of your driving license. Follow this link to generate the check code: View or share your driving license information.
- Two proofs of address from separate sources, with at least one of those from the Primary list (see below). The documents must be dated within 90 days of your departure date.
- Deposit payment made via an electronic means (not cash or cheque) by the primary driver.
We will request proof of ID a short time before you are due to collect the vehicle. Photos of documents emailed to us before departure are ideal although we physically also need to see the driving licenses for each driver.
