Cancellation Policy

Motorhome and Campervan Cancellation Policy

We are always over-subscribed during peak periods such as the summer and school holidays. We therefore work hard to ensure that our fleet is fully utilised during these times so as to accommodate as many people as possible. This is particularly true during the summer months and as a result we have a relatively strict cancellation policy.

We do of course understand that exceptional circumstances do happen. If you are unable to make use of the vehicle, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer your hire period to someone on our reserve list. Please contact us initially by phone and then confirm in writing.

Refunds

Refunds will be given in line with the time before departure that you inform us of your inability to make use of the vehicle:

Within 24 hours prior to departure 100% of rental fee
Within 1 week prior to departure 90% of rental fee
Within 2 weeks prior to departure 75% of rental fee
Within 10 weeks prior to departure 50% of rental fee
Between 10-24 weeks prior to departure 25% of rental fee
More than 24 weeks prior to departure 10% of rental fee

 

Notes

  • The security deposit is fully refunded when the booking is cancelled.
  • No shows will forfeit the entire hire charge.
  • Ultimate Campers Limited reserves the right to cancel the hire if at the commencement of the hire the driver(s) licenses are invalid or not according to the conditions set out. In these circumstances the total hire charge will be forfeited.
  • Ultimate Campers Limited reserves the right to cancel the hire if 14 days before the commencement of the hire we have not received full payment, including the security deposit. In these circumstances 75% of the hire charge will be forfeited.
  • Hirers are strongly advised to insure against unavoidable cancellation.
  • You are still liable for any sums not yet paid.
